HM #320: Wallet
(Monday evening. Dany’s shift ended before Felix’ and John’s.)
Now that was some confusing research…
Apparently a woman’s wallet is called a purse in British English, but in American English, “purse” means handbag. And I still haven’t officially decided what variant of English is spoken in “Highlymotivatedland”…
In the end I checked some online shops and found that the objects in which people of all genders store coins, bills, and credit cards are most often called wallets.
Looking forward to researching “pants” and “trousers” one day.
